Privacy policy

Last updated: May 2026

This policy explains what CiberValle collects, why, and the control you have over it. The short version: we collect as little as possible, we do not sell anything about you, and the interactive tools on this site run entirely in your browser.

What we collect

Analytics data through Google Analytics 4, in aggregate and anonymized form – pages viewed, approximate region, device type, and how you arrived. This runs only after you accept analytics cookies. Until then, no analytics data is sent.

If you subscribe to the newsletter, the email address you provide and the date you subscribed. Nothing more.

Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability, which may include IP addresses for a short retention window.

What the tools collect

Nothing. The password checker, breach lookup, and assessments process everything locally in your browser. Inputs are never transmitted to any server, logged, or stored.

How we use it

Analytics tell us which guides are useful and where readers get stuck, so we can improve them. Newsletter data is used only to send the newsletter you asked for. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell or rent your data.

Your choices

You can decline analytics cookies and the site works fully without them. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in every email. You can request deletion of your newsletter data by writing to us.

Third parties

Google Analytics (analytics, consent-gated), our email delivery provider (newsletter only), and our hosting/CDN provider. Each processes data under its own terms; none receives data about you beyond what is described here.
